Swedish Massage Therapy

I studied Swedish Massage at Suffolk College in 2005 and began practicing as a mobile therapist. I work with Suffolk Carers and Mind, both of whom offer their clients discounted rates for various therapies. I find it immensely rewarding to provide treatments to those who are in real need and who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford them.

In order to offer massage treatments to a wider audience, I joined the Higher Evolution Centre in 2006,  providing a variety of routines to suit different needs.

Previously I studied Equine Business Management in Humberside and taught horse riding, but found working with horses less rewarding than I expected. I worked with a practitioner of homeopathy and reflexology, learning much about these therapies as well as dowsing with crystals and meditation. Complementary therapies and their use on horses was the subject of her dissertation.

I found that treatments in reflexology and acupuncture were very beneficial in aiding my own healing, fuelling my desire to move into complementary therapy as a career.

I believe that massage is not just a luxury treatment but a great way of relaxing and giving your body the opportunity to heal itself.
