Mary is from the Midwest in the United States and lived in Paris and Brussels for many years before moving to Ipswich. Her background is in performing arts - she is a classically trained singer and has attended master classes on freeing the natural voice.
She has been a full time singing and voice teacher since 1986 and has led groups in America, Belgium, France, Holland, Germany and England. She is currently creating a CD recording using material from her workshops.
Mary has completed a course in 'The Naked Voice' with Chloe Goodchild, which brings together the spiritual and therapeutic aspects of voice and chanting.
Mary enjoys being in the natural world and keeping fit, and combines these interests by hiking and rambling. She also likes cooking.
