Yoga has been a cherished part of Jo's life since an early age; it carried her out of a debilitating illness and into a profound love for the healing art of Yoga. As well as qualifying with the British Wheel of Yoga, Jo (Subhra) has received guidance from Swami Dharmananda Saraswati for many years.
Jo has also gained a teaching qualification from Yasodhara Ashram. For four months, she lived in this vibrant spiritual community, practising Swami Radha's reflective, psychological and spiritual approach, known as the Hidden Language of Yoga.
It has been very rewarding to her to live in a place dedicated to spiritual growth. Jo is currently participating in an intensive Pranayama course and practises Chi Gung.
Jo cares for young adults with learning difficulties, and works at a Sue Ryder care home. She has a degree in Religion and Theology and is a qualified reflexologist.
