The Integral Yoga class combines Asana, Pranayama, meditation, relaxation and chanting to bring the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual together as one, in order to bring about a complete and harmonious development of the individual. Asanas are very flowing with postures that have stages for all abilities (going to your own limits).
ASANA the ancient name for a yoga posture.
PRANAYAMA, structured breathing, is very important combined with asanas to become more open and calm, also on its own it will bring more life and energy to the body.
MEDITATION brings calmness clarity concentration and empathy to the individual who then becomes one with Yoga.
RELAXATION brings quietness to the body and mind. Finding spiritual relaxation is important especially in our busy lives.
CHANTING will bring the class to a close, helping to take your practice out into the world with confidence.
